At Angels of Provision, we are dedicated to raising awareness, providing education, and supporting individuals affected by breast cancer. Our mission is to empower communities through accessible resources, promote early detection and prevention, and advocate for each warriors and survivors on their journey. Together, we strive to create a world where every person impacted by breast cancer has the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

How To Reduce Breast Cancer Risk

Lifestyle and Health Choices
  • Maintain a Healthy Weight: Being overweight, especially after menopause, increases breast cancer risk. Focus on balanced eating and staying active.

  • Stay Physically Active: Regular exercise helps regulate hormones and control weight. Aim for 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of vigorous activity weekly.

  • Limit Alcohol Intake: Alcohol raises breast cancer risk. Limit to one drink per day or avoid alcohol altogether.

  • Eat a Nutritious Diet: Prioritize fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats like omega-3s.Limit processed meats and saturated fats.

  • Avoid Smoking: Smoking increases cancer risk. Quitting improves health and lowers breast cancer risk.

  • Breastfeed, if Possible: Breastfeeding for several months may lower breast cancer risk.

  • Eat a Nutritious Diet:
    Prioritize fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats like omega-3s.
    Limit processed meats and saturated fats.

  • Limit Hormone Therapy: Prolonged use of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) increases breast cancer risk. Discuss alternatives with a doctor.

  • Genetic Counseling: If there’s a family history, genetic testing for BRCA mutations helps assess risk and guide preventive measures.
